Let us wait patiently for the scamdemic crew to show up and parrot their usual conspiracy theories they hope will bestow them with immunity from the virus that has now launched a fresh mass attack on the human race, with Europe and the USA as ground zero, again.

404 cases. Issorite.

I Just tested positive for covid-19. But no symptoms no headache no weird feeling no nothing. Just locked up myself in my house - Ubi Franklin.
Covid-19. The only disease in the whole wide world you can contract, be asymptomatic (no symptoms at all of any sickness) & recover without knowing it.
So why won't it be called Scamdemic?

Jakumo, while I am no "Covid-denier" - (I deny neither its existence or its capacity to inflict death) - I would be mildly surprised if you do not find much cause for pause in the global response to to Covid-19. It would also surprise me if (notwithstanding our notoriously poor record keeping) you have not noted a significant difference in the degree of fatalities between North America/Europe and sub-Saharan Africa (well, perhaps not, if you do not live here in Africa).

What would really astonish me though, would be if you do not cede that mankind seldom let a good crisis go to waste without turning a profit thereon.

The world is full of shades of gray - and thus not every adherent of the orthodoxy of the day is wise, and not every rebel against such orthodoxy is foolish. If anything, excessive and rigid orthodoxy has always been a most dangerous thing in my humble view.

Till today I can't fathom why we were made to sit at home when that same virus is still around. The government used it to cash-out big time

...Or the panic hustlers and fear mongers who can never be satisfied till everyone is miserable and fearful of a virus that has nothing on worse afflictions here.

Don't mention one and leave out the other!!!

...And quit using Europe and America as standards. Look within your continent!!! Your colonial masters are enjoying their modern day pestilence. When they are ready to move on from an artificially created health setback, they will let the rest of the world know.

Thank you.

I throway salute Oga DeepSight, and wish you a prosperous new year 2022 in advance. May we all live until the year 2222, or at least aspire to do so. Your words have a poetic ring for sure "The world is full of shades of gray - and thus not every adherent of the orthodoxy of the day is wise, and not every rebel against such orthodoxy is foolish."

I heartily agree with your observation that a good deal of fear-mongering and big pharma profiteering has been witnessed right from the 2019 onset of this ongoing Coronavirus pandemic in its Wuhan China ground zero, and like you, I emphatically reject any notion that seeks to minimize or outrightly deny the horrific death toll inflicted globally by this terrifying pandemic, bearing in mind the mass open-air funeral pyres in 2020 India, or the refrigerator trucks serving as emergency overflow morgues in the streets of New York City that same year.

All things considered though, your choice to abstain from partaking of the Coronavirus vaccination offering is perfectly understandable, considering the alarming accounts of severely adverse physiological reactions to the vaccination that were reported to have been experienced by a small minority of the treatment's recipients worldwide. It was precisely such unsettling anecdotal news reports that informed my own prolonged hesitance to accept the contention that the vaccine is indeed the lesser of two evils in which one is well known while the other is much less so.

So, to cut a long rumination short, I wound up getting the Moderna vaccine's two-stage Coronavirus dose, and will, barring any long-term allergic reaction, follow up with the booster shot after the mandated 6-month time period following the second of the two initial jabs.
