Sincerely I'm sure of only myself. But I will wager that with what Nigerians currently experience under Buhari, majoruty would align with my thoughts. Majority wouldn't wanna make another Buhari mistake (he lied about his age, about his qualifications too) and he happens not to show great leadership so far.

There is someone who has shown Nigerians just a stint of what great leadership would be like and the dividends of such. He had just 6 months to make great decisions which went down well with Nigerians as it gave them the impression that power indeed lies with the people who vote officials in and not a few privileged rots who feel entitled and foist their wills on the masses. He disciplined, in line with expectations of a sane society, a public official of the DSS who feels he can use his power to oppress his counterparts in the legislature (even though the legislature have their own excesses too). He also went ahead and swore in the legitimate next person into the position, without recourse to tribalism or nepotism, a man from the South south.

But what did Buhari do the moment he came back? He reversed those reasonable decisions. He even went ahead and fired the South South man and then went along with his nepotostic urges to again climax in his own tribalistic orgasm, as he always does.

° You apparently try to see yourself in other people, and wrongly so. That is why you would think I'm a tribalist and a wailer, not minding my deposition up there that pointed to the fact that I'm a proponent of doing things as it should be done, devoid of ethnoreligious influence and that I'm also a fan of putting round pegs in round holes.

° I was a strong supporter of Jonathan against the cabal who held Nigeria to ransom and I advocated that the right thing (handing over power to him with the incapacity of the president, and according to the constitution) be done. But GEJ fumbled along the way by indulging his ministers and a few other in their corrupt practices. He turned deaf ears despite the cries of millions of Nigerians about the excesses of Diezani Allison Maduekwe. Sleaze was also very evident under his administration and he failed to punish his officers that engage in it. A leader must lead by examples and when people see the big shots being punished for wrongdoing, the common citizens will sit up. So I expectedly withdrew my rooting for him (GEJ) soon after.

° Being faced with little option and hoping that PMB will offer Nigerians what Jonathan failed at (fighting corruption, entrenching security of lives and properties and dealing with wrongdoers irrespective of ethnoreligious affiliation), Nigerians, I included rooted for Buhari. I didn't even mind that he was of the northern stock. The only thing I wanted was for things to work and to support anyone who would make things to work.

Anyways to shorten it, I withdrew my support for PMB the moment it became obvious that he was not ready to deal with corruption head on and was literarily romancing corruption in his own circles. Note that the persistence of corrupt practices under him led to a worsening of the security situations (much worse than GEJ's) under him. And the same corruption is what keeps oiling the insecurity and insurgency.

° So if you fail to understand why I'm not a wailer with all these, then I'm sorry that I can't help your myopism, your political naivety, your tribalism and nepotism and your uncaring attitude for what Nigerians are currently going thru under this man you so much hold dearly.
