Yesterday (Christmas) morning, I needed to buy sausage and got to the store where I get it only to have the price as #1,050 as against 600 naira I get it on a norm (I still got one a week ago).
I was so shocked and highly unimpressed which made me ask my brother's wife who lives in the USA and came to celebrate with us if things get expensive in USA during festive periods.

She said things even get cheaper during festive periods in order to enable everyone get things to celebrate with. This has been making me wonder if we are really good people as we claim. This is not government or politician at work, these are individuals inflating their goods for no good reasons

Most people practice religion because of fear of hell, rather than being kind
