Lots of Npower Batch C Volunteers have been asking about the continuity of the N-Power program, others have been asking when the Npower Batch C2 program will commence.

The Minister for Humanitarian Affairs Sadiya Umar Farouq on Wednesday have assured the N-Power beneficiaries that their monthly stipends for the stipulated period of the N-Power program will continue to the end of the N-Power program.

According to the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs Sadiya Umar Farouq in relation to Mr President's approval, the Npower Batch C2 will commence soon, through which more Nigerian youths would be enlisted into the programme.

The NSIP National Coordinator, Umar Bindir, while responding to questions being raised over the funding of the N-Power scheme, said: “If you have a million Graduates attached every month for one year, and they are paid a stipend of ₦30,000 so every month, there’s a bill of ₦30 billion, just to pay the stipend and you can do the estimate in a year, you are talking about between ₦300 and ₦360 billion only paying for the stipend".

Sadiya, the minister for Humanitarian Services and Disaster Management is confused and distracted with inaugurations and flag-offs of unnecessary programmes abandoning and paying inadequate attention to other existing programmes under Npower. She has abandoned NEXIT programme for the batches A and B Npower beneficiaries which were disengaged in the peak of COVID-19 as well as 14,200 beneficiaries which were owed 5-month backlogs while batch C1 Npower beneficiaries are still in the fixing and refixing mode of knotty issues and yet to receive monthly stipends.Tell me how the batch C2 will be a success when she has left previous batches in the shambles? The appointment of Sadiya as a minister in that ministry is a great disaster.

one of my fellow older staff in one private sch i worked earlier once told me not to rely at any time on government money

i thought he was just kidding

but when i grew up, i completely understood what he meant,

those collecting that money will have become used to it that they wont think of other means to find money

so when they owe them stipends, they will now start crying wolf!

and worst part of the whole issue is if another government enter, it will cancel the current programme and start a new one.

for example sure p, during jonathan wey dey pay 25k, now its n power paying 30k,

they are just increasing rather than reducing poverty!
