Falling in love means different things for different people. This is because we all have different circumstances surrounding us which in turns, could have an effect in determining our fate (if we let it). For some people, falling in love could mean heartaches and lack of concentration. While on the other hand, people celebrate peace, joy, and satisfaction from falling in love.

So what exactly does falling in love feel like? Well, the answer to this question is subjective. I have gathered a wide array of answers from my friends through a survey I did on my WhatsApp status. There, they shared their ideology about what falling in love feels like to them.

1. Falling in love feels like a force of attraction
For Janet, falling in love feels like a force of attraction. The 24-year-old university student went on to further write that the feeling is almost overwhelming and could be really hard to banish. On a bid to make her further explain, she said, “For me, I believe in love at first sight. There is always a force of attraction when you see someone your soul connects with on a higher level.”

2. You show too much care and concern
John, a medical doctor in his early thirties explains in his answer to the question, what falling in love feels like; you show too much care and concern. According to John, it might be hard to digest the definition of what love feels like because he is a medical doctor. “Of course it should be natural for all medical doctors to care and show concern towards people. But believe me, this is different,” added John.

When it comes to people like Cynthia, falling in love doesn’t always turn out a bed of roses. “Falling in love gives heartache,” she said. She further explained that when falling in love with someone, there is risk of rejection which you may not quite handle well – only a few people end up with the people that love them as much as they do.

But I think if you experience heartache when in love then you need to revaluate your relationship and examine yourself because it could be insecurities.

And I don't believe in love at first sight.
