I'm a writer but sometimes feel like I don't deserve to call myself that, why?

I feel like my writing is not something worth putting out there for people to see.

I've always struggled to write a book to finish, most times I get stuck in the middle, maybe it's writer's block (so I thought) and I'm always getting criticized by my siblings for writing many books in part and never finishing it and that I write crap but I'm told criticism is part of what makes a better writer. It's painful sometimes but I endure it because nursing might make me quit writing.

I did my research to find ways to break out of this daunting habit and then I found out that a writer is apt to do better if he connects himself or herself in a community filled with like minds.
Then Writers and Readers Unite came to mind.

Writers love readers and readers good writers. Every writer's absolute desire when he puts his or her books out there is basically to get readers and subsequently their reviews.

It's important because it boosts a writer's mastery, shows them where they need improvement with the reviews and maybe criticisms. It encourages them to write more and better.
