Please what can my friend do, He was tested positive for Covid 19 PCR few hours to his departure. He suppose to leave tonight but quite unfortunately he was tested to covid 19 PCR. He didn't know this site and tat is why l am asking for a way forward on his behave.

Now he has cancel his flight already and he will reschedule it after finding solution.

Now he has collected compete dose of vaccination before this incident yet he still tested for covid 19.
He need to leave the country soon as he just came for Christmas and new year celebration.

My question is must he needed to be tested negative before he can leave because, covid 19 positive can last in the body for some weeks if not month... I am stand to be corrected.

People in health field please help on vital information so also those who works in the airport. Thank you all.

Let him just treat himself, stay away from people and travel

If he is truly fully vaccinated then he doesn't need to worry. He should drink lots of water and eat alkaline based food and fruits. In 5-7 days he should be fine and then go for another test.

Thanks though but how can he return to his base without too much delay

If he is vaccinated, there's no cause for alarm. He should take paracetamol for body aches, eat fruits and run another test within next 7 to 10 days. I believe he will be fine to return negative. From personal experience though.

Get immune booster with vitamin c and zinc
