I just thought I should share with you people that there's no hiding place for poor/broke Nigerians in Nigeria anymore citing real life example of how I suffered with N300 in my pocket with nothing to eat with that amount.

Many Nigerians are in the category of living from hand to mouth and I'm one of them (for now). These are caused by underemployment or total unemployment, making survival a terrible task especially in this administration. All that left with me was N300 because the small work that brings me money hasn't been forthcoming for a while now.

We all know in 2015, N300 could afford a meal at Mama Put or restaurant but the same amount couldn't get me what to eat on Friday after trying all known options.

Let me make a list of options a common man could get with N300 or below before APC/Buhari took over the steering.

1. A plate of soup and Garri (big size Garri that 'belleful')

2. Sizable plate of rice and beans with meat for N200, N250 or N300.

3. A plastic bottle of soft drink (N100) and a sizeable loaf of bread (N100 or N150) making it N200 or N250.

4. Noodles. Hungry Man pack was N120 and if you are the type that eats a lot, 2 packs at N240 will fill you up to 6-10 hours.

5. Akara & Bread (A&B) combination (Okada man popular breakfast). Akara N50 or at most 2 pieces for N100 plus a sizeable bread for another N100, making N200.

THE REALITY OF TODAY

The cheapest plate of Garri and soup you can get today is nothing less than N500. Else, check well. It may be poison or very tasteless.

Although some "mama put" still cut rice for N200 and beans for N100 but that is a very small quantity unlike before. I bet you, before you walk back to where you came from, you'd be feeling even hungrier. Only N500 worth of rice and beans can manage 'belleful' somebody now.

All the soft carbonated drink jumped from N70, N80 and N100 as they were to N150 or N200. As for bread, we all know how far. Bakers in the country had to go on strike due to high cost of flour and only returned with an increment on the prices of bread. N150 worth of bread that was a big size before, today, only your left pam can fold it and straight into your mouth ONCE.

Hungry Man size of noodles that was N120 is now N250. That is over 100% increment since Mr. Buhari took over the ship.

Who was a top fan of beans before? Beans that your stomach will be making noise after eating? Many never really liked beans. As such, beans was barely sold above N60/cup. Today, Akara makers buy beans at N180-N200/cup. Do you expect them to run a business that is not profitable? Absolutely not! That is why they also up their game - now making a piece of Akara for N100 and small in size.

In conclusion, this seems like a deliberate attempt to extinct poor/broke Nigerians. After all, I read somewhere that world leaders have come together and agreed to reduce the world population especially in Africa. I don't know how true it is, what approach they will use in achieving that and if Buhari was part of the meeting.

Thank you for reading and reawakening your consciousness of the NIGERIA TODAY. And should you be in a position you can help my unemployed status with a job (permanent or contract job of any kind including, PA, content writing, financial assistance), please don't hesitate reach me.

This is how every politician and public servant and their descendants, that stole money meant for the masses thereby causing untold suffering and death for millions, if not billions of people will have their final abode in ..... The church has deceived them with a false god that will save them. The universal law of karma is still at work.

Op,stop this Buhari Buhari you're shouting up and down. No Matter how good or bad the economy is,some will have it bad, while some good.
If you're broke,go and learn a skill with the data and phone you're using to engage in chronic stylish begging online.
Even Gej tenure you guys claim is good,I was jobless and broke, now I'm gainfully employed, also have a digital skill that's picking up slowly. Your life is in your hands, get up your black butt and go to do something meaningful with your life.
