If there’s one thing l have learnt: politics is for the matured minds and not for the weak, sentimental and emotional minds. In politics, cry-babies can never elicit any sympathy from would be voters, rather you get the opposite. No voter would want to elect someone/candidate who have shown weakness even before the race has started. When two male lions fight, the lioness is always attracted to the winner. Same thing applies in the human kingdom, in the case of boxing. Mike Tyson in his peak, smashed lots of kpekus because women were attracted to his strength.
As Nigeria’s democracy becomes more entrenched and interesting, only the tenacious and dogmatic politicians will attract voters.

Ndigbo have failed woefully in learning from Zik. Zik was an astute politician and never a cry baby, politically speaking, that was why the Igbo ruled Nigeria, alongside the north in the first 6yrs of Nigeria’s independence, until predominantly Igbo soldiers ruined it for Ndigbo in an unnecessary coup. Almost thesame thing is playing out today as namadi cownu/Ipob cannibals have ruined it for Ndigbo politically, economically and emotionally speaking in the 2023 presidential cycle. Any political party that fields an Igbo has committed political suicide.

President Buhari tried to rekindle the Igbo/NW alliance that made Ndigbo get to the political realm in Nigeria by picking his vice from the SE in 2003 and 2007, but Ndigbo rejected him and Buhari faced directions to the SW. Today, the SW is close to clinching the presidency again 2023. Politics is not for the emotionally damaged folks, rather it’s for the dogmatic and pragmatic people.
I remembered late Alex Ekwueme warning Ndigbo in 2015 to vote Buhari/APC because he had seen the light that Jonathan was toast, but ohaneze and Igbo politicians collected money from PDP to keep their people in PDP slave camp. Today they are crying to APC to compensate them with presidency. How can you work for MTN and cry to GLO to pay you?

The man Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is a political giant of our time and must be respected, even if you hate him (which I don’t understand this hatred for this man). Tinubu has done a lot for the Yoruba, politically. He’s a man of vision and will sacrifice a Yoruba political appointment just to advance the greater Yoruba interest. The singular act of rejecting Yoruba head of speaker under Jonathan was a masterpiece and it helped the Yoruba ascend the number 2 in the country. Why accept to play number 4 when you can get to play 2nd? The Igbo politicians accepted all the irrelevant positions under PDP/Jonathan without thinking of the future.

Finally, Tinubu is a Nigerian and every Nigerian has the right to contest for the presidency and be voted for or against, so long as the said Nigerian has not been convicted of any crimes.

Ojukwu and Gowon were both pardoned by president Shehu Shagari of blessed memories.
Ojukwu on his return, exercised his right as a Nigerian and ran for the senate. He also contested for the presidency in 2003 and 2007. I believe he knew the odds were stacked against him, but rather he was sending a message to Ndigbo, that you have to take part in politics like others and stop been politically weak and cry babies. Ohaneze is a useless organization and any reasonable Igbo should be ashamed of that organization. They’re jittery over a man who they called too old to rule, but will not bring out their own ‘young candidate’.
Besides, America has always been ruled by old men, so long as it’s the people’s choice.

If Bola Ahmed Tinubu is running, then nothing is wrong with it. He’s a full blown Nigerian with no criminal conviction(s) and for his doggedness and pragmatism, he has my vote and I will gladly campaign for him for free.

God bless Nigeria
God bless president Buhari
God bless Tinubu and other would be contestants.

The more they attack Tinubu, the more he becomes attractive to Nigerian voters. I suggest those who want to contest should present their candidates for all to see.

Right to contest? Yes. Right to deceive Nigerians again as he did in 2015? Right to loot Nigeria the way he is still looting Lagos? Your guess is as good as mine.

Do the Igbo have the right to contest? Do Nigerians have the right to use their brains to know who’s deceiving them? Do Nigerians have the right to vote for or against Tinubu?

You didn't answer one of the questions.

Right to loot Nigeria the way he is still looting Lagos?

You are politically astute and correct but your moniker is denigrating and doesn't seem to show you as a person to be taken seriously.

My moniker is to showcase to the world the cannibalism of Ipob/ESN and criminals are meant to be denigrated.
Let those with brain cells read the message and not brainless Ipob/ESN cannibals, for the message is not for Ipob/ESN cannibals anyway.

Does the Efcc and the courts have the right to prosecute and convict Tinubu for wanting to loot Nigeria the way he’s ‘looting’ Lagos?

Exactly....I think it would be the last ace that the cabal would wield if he comes close to clinching the presidency. You remember MKO Abiola? Expect something similar if the bullion van man comes close to winning APC nomination.

No wahala! Just make sure you have your candidate intact just incase your prediction comes to past. I remember when folks like you were saying Buhari is done politically after losing three presidential races in a row and he’s done politically. grin

So answer my own question: “do Igbo have the right to contest for presidency”?

Can you carefully re-read your quote on my mention. Like calm down and read what you wrote slowly and introspectively.
