My Experience With Easy Buy by Voldoz: 11:45am On Jan 14, 2022
I bought a phone and I used easy buy to pay the remaining 16k the sales personnel was the one doing all the easy buy stuff. After hours it was successful, I asked them if I maybe I didn't meet up completely with the payment can I pay it up with the next installment, they said yes I can then I later discovered that I will be paying back 20,000 in 3 months installment, I don't know what some of you think about it but for me the interest is on the high side.

So due to circumstances I paid 5000 out of 6938 I was supposed to pay hoping as the week progress I will pay it up.

Since then these guys has being disturbing me calling my line sending countless text messages, to top it all they are even adding extra charges to the balances for each day missed.

My take is that I was err cause I was supposed to do a research about them and their policies instead of relaying on the sales personnels and I urge anyone who want to do the easy buy to think twice before embarking on it.

What's your own experience if any.

Thank you.

U want to use company's money to buy phone and U don't want the company to make profit. They aren't forcing anyone to use their services, U chose to use their services becos U couldn't afford ur immediate need. Wateva interest they charge U is their cost of funding ur needs

Well said but still it's trashed if I was enlightened I wouldn't have made this mistake but still I blamed myself not them cause I failed to go through their policies.

Oga go pay your money you owe, I don't know why Nigerians are like this sef
So you think these companies are santa clause or uncle Ben, they are taking huge risks by trusting you with their money/phones
Do you expect them to just relax and allow you pay when you feel like it, or do you just want them to sell the phone to you at the normal market price after your instalment payment period that may take up of 3-6months?

If we keep dragging these companies loan apps/ easy payment platforms on social media
soon they will fold up and the real people benefitting from them will be left with nothing

I advice you look for money to pay up and always try as much as possible to pay up the amount for each money, when you don't interest will keep adding to it, even it was ₦300..

They will start locking some apps one by one on that phone in the next few days, I hope you're bracing up for this?

Trust me after 10-15 days of not paying you won't have access to all the apps except easybuy app, google play store and gallery

Your phone would be ringing but you won't be able to pick it up.

I wasn't able to pay and all the apps were locked, then fortunately I got some money but my intuition was telling me not to pay, I went to play store to read the reviews, chai people were lamenting, cursing and all, easybuy didn't unlock their phones after they paid.

The reviews discouraged me from paying, the next day I went to lawanson in Surulere to enquire if it would be possible to flash the phone..... The lawanson guys were bums, was in Ikeja too the same day, same story.......

But later beat easybuy.....

This is the type of mentality that is making Buhari to be borrowing money anyhow. If it were a better country, you would have spoilt your credit card for a very long time.

My phone is bought through EASYBUY and I didn't regret it. In fact, I took another person there who equally enjoyed their service. Pay your debt and stop whining!

Bro just try and pay up. This country is hard. I don't try to make it harder for myself by taking any type of loan. Cut your coat and save for rainy days.

There's nothing special about it bro. Most of the phone sellers have easybuy agents in their shops. You'll need a valid ID, phone numbers of two people close to you and your ATM card. Then about 30% amount upfront of the phone you want to buy.
