JUST LOST A JOB, NEED ADVICE by freelancerrr: 11:57am On Jan 14, 2022
Hello family, happy new year all and my God grant us our wishes this 2022.

Pls guys I need what I can be doing online for now until I round up my degree programme this year and get a better job.

I intended using the time I have this new year wisely to source for genuine ways to establish an income online as I hear people testify. I have computer knowledge and sound operation skills.

Any help on what to do or learn online is appreciated.

, he said " you have lost your job".

In your next job, always communicate with your line manager where you will be unable to show up, or complete tasks.
2 days, and you could not reach him to inform him.
Your colleague probably didn't even pass the message across.

You were 'sick' and you couldn't reach him directly but was able to teach your friend, who in turn couldn't reach him also?
And then you resumed after 2 days without a medical report?
Your student were untaught for 2days
Your whole post reeks of irresponsibility. And I seriously doubt if he would have sacked you outrightly if that was your first time of going AWOL.
If the salary was not enough why didn't you resign honourably instead of trying to whip up sentiments after sack?

When you get another job,if you wont be available, kindly send a mail or call your manager or boss to inform them of your unavailability

Arrrrrrrrh

I'm sorry about that. But you did wrong by telling a colleague to help you and pass the information. You would have written a doc, telling him your reasons and citing you have been trying to reach him but his number is not going through.

I remember when I was doing IT, one guy like that told me to tell our boss that he can't make it that day simple because he was poured water on his birthday and presently he's catching cold. grin grin grin

When I arrived work I told oga the exact statement without omitting or polishing his words. grin grin grin

Next day he came to work and was shinning teeth, thoughts he have gotten over it with yesterday's excuse and would continue things, until he was called grin cheesy grin Omo that day I laugh like mad, my boss was like what sort of irresponsible man are you? grin

The reasons I told my boss everything like that was because he was too reluctant, this guy is to 'anyhow', he don't care about anything and even when you try to advice him he will flare up. That event made him learnt his lesson, since that day he becames more punctual to work than before.cheesy smiley wink cheesy
