Ok guys, I know that I had started a thread on how blackberry sucks and all, but after a week of intense research and persistence with the much needed questions answered, I have come back to clear the air that Blackberry no longer sucks, sort of. To my intense relief, I have discovered that using a bolt and opera browser will enable to browse at all times unlike the phone browser that will occassionally tell you that they cannot connect to the server. Also, while using the bolt browser, you can download any file larger than 100MB as evidenced by my downloading movies like x men first class, step up 3D, You don't mess with the zohan, Jackass 3D, Inception etc all within a week. I am now a proud owner of blackberry 9700 and though I am yet to find the solution to the quick battery discharge and the utter annoyance I feel when I get pinged by unknown pin nos, I believe it is inconsequential compared to the huge potential of this phone. So ladies, if u are married with kids, bored out of your minds and feel you are losing touch with what's going on in the outside world (which unfortunately has been the case for me for 3 years now), Blackberry is the phone for you.

Oh get off ur high horse, u rude little boy. Of course, every Dick and Harry knows what opera and bolt browser is, what most don't knw is that these applications can work in a blackberry device without any restrictions. I can bet ur dumbass was just as surprised when u first learnt of this so pls allow me the luxury. This is where I stop talking to you now, you know-all-everyone-else-is-stupid type just get on my nerves. Rubbish.

My dear, hopefully it will work 4 u too. Had never used a bolt browser until now, and it's unbelievable. It behaves like an aed downloader in that if u are downloading any file, and ur connection or battery runs out, it resumes from the exact point it had stopped unlike opera. Wishing u all the best.

And also opera and bolt don't necessarily work through Tcp/ip alone. They work through BIS and go through TCP/IP wen Bis isn't available.

Maybe You should brush up on your knowledge before you start labelling others "Dumb".
