There has been a lot of noises about how youths should look for someone decent, calm, outspoken out of us/them to contest for the greatest position instead of recycling the old politicians, I as a person understand every part except the part that I know that it is not only difficult but very impossible.

I know it's impossible but I don't know why....

Because you need a platform and national structure to be president and the stakeholders of the structure want only persons they know and who will protect their interests.
It's not about how good you are

Till whenever the electoral laws allow for independent candidates in elections

Do you think any independent candidate can win an election in a nation like ours?

Read your Holy Book

I am certain any spiritual book talked about realms!

And not that we fail to acknowledge, but fail to stare at reality facing us!

You know the blunt truth? Even if Jesus Christ and Mohammed (SAW) were to run for presidency and vibe in Nigeria, they will lose

You cannot be sane and lead Nigerians

Nigeria is not such a country, America is that country that anyone can just came from nowhere and emerged the president.

It's not hard for you to see people laugh a newbie to scorn in Nigeria who tries to Contest, they will ridicule such an individual.

And it's not very hard for you hear something like "this one hasn't paid his dues yet, he wants to be a governor of a president" what is this dues they are talking about?

We have a long way to go in this country.

Even in the USA, it's very difficult to just come from anywhere, contest for the presidency and win.

Only two people has ever become US presidents by contesting for the presidential election as their first election;

1) Gen Dwight Esseinhower, who was the US War hero in the WW-2 and rose on that popularity to win a presidential election in 1953.

2) Donald Trump: a popular Real Estate, Entertainment and Media personality from a New-York Wealthy Family.
In reality, Donald started running for the presidency since 1998 under small and weak parties until he joined the Republican party to actualize his ambition in 2016.

You cannot win because the system has been twisted to keep their ilks there.

Sb who will ensure the loot flows to its branches.

Until they all die,and everyone they put there, Nigeria will remain a gerontocratic joke.

Corruption has eaten deep into the system, hence making it extremely difficult for anyone who's not in the system to become president!

Because The Youth's lack Passion, Patriotism and Vision. These three ingredients are what it takes to take away power from the aged.

The reason why it seems impossible is because most of our youth don't have the zeal to pull through.
And those that do don't have the resources.
