Sin is *practical unbelief*. Sin is *unbelief in the person of Jesus who by His finished works on the Cross of Calvary now indwells our body*. After being born again, we still have *our free-will* with which *we choose to believe that the person of Jesus now lives in our mortal-bodies as a replacement of our old-nature/flesh and He alone is permitted to express the perfect-will of God the Father by the control of the Holy Spirit for every secret thoughts or choices or external behaviours from our whole being (spirit, soul and body) *by our willing submission to HIS LORDSHIP/CONTROL for every choice we want to make*. Therefore *not submitting to HIM* is *unbelief that He dwells within our mortal-bodies and He alone is permitted to express HIMSELF through our mortal-bodies having taken out our old-nature/flesh on the Cross of Calvary and replaced it with HIS FULL LIFE(GOD AND MAN). Just a little of my contribution. Great Grace Brethren!!!

He is wrong! Sin is instead direct disobedience of God's commandments as given us by Jesus Christ, the one who is God's New Covenant and Law in the Kingdom of God. undecided

The Law, which has almost 100 commandments, define for us that which is Sin from that which isn't, and unbelief in the Law, Jesus Christ, is not listed as a sin. undecided

What does it mean to be disobedient?? It's simply not believing in an already established authority, pattern etc and was exactly what Jesus came to do for us. Showing us a new way to God after the disobedience by our first parents. Anyone who is wining don't believe in the finished work of Jesus.

Disobedience could also be a result of arrogance - a belief that one knows better than God in these things. Take the example of the pharisees, they knew well God's commandments but taught instead their own ideas and rules believing them better than those given by God. undecided

The reasons for disobedience aside, the point is sin is itself disobedience of God's commandments as taught to us though His Law, Jesus Christ and according to the Law, those who do not believe in Jesus Christ aren't sinners - they are simply unbelievers and exist outside of the Kingdom of God and His jurisdiction.
Instead those who are sinners are those who believe in Jesus Christ yet refuse to bow down in obedience to His teachings and commandments.... these are the sinners in the Kingdom of God. undecided

I am not simply stating what I believe but what Jesus Christ taught us right there in His Gospel. undecided
