Why Will Nigeria Want To Hold On To A Region With Lowest IGR, Worst Performance? by foryourmind: 12:09pm On Jan 17, 2022 |
According to their Federal budget statistics, Igboland has the lowest IGR and doesn't contribute anything to Nigeria's economy (let's assume we agree). So why are Nigerians holding unto a region that reap more than they contribute? Is it that Nigeria loves Igbos so much or what? Why begging someone who doesn't contribute to your earning and instead takes more (according to Nigeria federal statistics) to stay? Can you beg a tenant who doesn't pay rent to stay in your house and even eat your food while chasing away other rent-paying tenants? Why are Nigerian/Nigerians obsessed with Igbos? 5 Likes |

No nation cedes its territory just like that, no matter how useless the place is. Land of whatever kind means more power. 1 Like |

The question should be why is a country with expired papers (1914 - 2014) continue to be functional (dysfunctional) On December 31st, 2014, the document that amalgamated Nigeria into one country expired. The British colonial edict of 1914 could be renewed or denounced, and the Nigerian state could stay united or split into several entities. We should be asking which way forward. Not toying with this idea of staying together. If Nigeria was a relationship would you want to continue with it or would you rather split? Like for continuity. Share for a divorce 2 Likes 2 Shares |

As per hydrocarbons, Igboland is the wealthiest region in Nigeria! FACT! This however, is part of the reason two-faced parasites and leeches don’t wanna let the south-east leave their sorry asses behind in ‘one Nigeria’...because if the south-east leaves, those Igbos they wickedly carved into Rivers state (yours truly being one of them) as well as our kinsfolk in Delta state, would definitely follow the south-east to leave as well! Tell them, ‘oya...conduct referendum on secession in just the five south-east states’, and watch some of them recoil in horror while the rest faint out of fright! 3 Likes 1 Share |

foryourmind: Because Nigerians are living there. Nigerians are indigenous people in the region. A mad hatter can not come without authority from the constitution or any other law and proclaim himself a leader of the region and say he wants to cut it off. That in itself is treason.. And is punishable by death. |
