Hey y'all. I've been wrapped up about the concept of the singularity lately. For those new to the concept, its a time when artificial intelligence(A.I) surpasses human intelligence. In this stage, It'll become way more smarter than any human that has been alive or that will even come to exist. Our current level of A.I though, is still in its early stages. So, at this stage what it will do can be "God like". Like it could do things that can we can't even imagine ( that's because its waaaay smarter than us).
So, this got me thinking. What if in this vast multiverse, a civilization has achieved transcendence and it's advanced machines become self aware and expands its intelligence self recursively. And creates a universe which is ours as a medium to efficiently achieve a grand cosmological goal that is totally oblivious to man due to our primitive intelligence. And what if this is the reason we haven't seen another intelligent life out there.
It may sound strange but our world is strange already. ( so this can fit in perfectly). Plus, what if the concept of free will( which I believe is largely subjective and I kinda doubt its existence) is non existent and all our actions are programmed cosmologically to achieve its goal : a unification of man and technology which is exponentially happening.
And lastly ( maybe I shouldn't be putting this), what if this spiritual plane of existence that most religions acclaim exist, is just an another advanced virtual plane created by this A.I.
