When I served in Ekiti then I was shocked seen parents using how many Graduates, how Masters degree, how many PhD's and how many Professors in one's family to measured how successful family are and the funniest thing is they don't chest beat around about it, it was an amazing experienced. I pretty much know that. Most of the knowledge I acquired in recent years are outside of the four walls of a classroom. Just that in this part of the world, we typically hold strong faith in education within the walls of a classroom. Anything acquired outside of paper certificates is not taken serious, you can imagine the heavy discrimination against Bsc holders from national open university. I pray it won't be long before we realise we're still living in the last century.

Many people don't realize that this modern day Nollywood is different. A very big chunk of them are educated now unlike back in the days. Infact if you are not educated now, it's like you shooting yourself in the leg cause you're not gonna fly.
