Its normal course as long as ASUU doesn’t do their thing. That should be 18 months max

A text msg? I thought the results will be released first on d portal followed by change in admission status. Has d admission process changed.?

I have been checking the portal, nothing has been said.

I first assumed I'd be informed of it via email, but got a text and when I checked my portal, sure enough, my application status had changed as well. So if for any reason you don't get a text, the status on your portal will definitely change. I'm a little surprised they didn't and still haven't sent an email notifying me of the admission, guess the chose to communicate via text.

That's great, congrats. The next step is to create a new account with your reg number (I think), the instruction is on the site where you saw your admission decision.

After that, you pay the acceptance fee, this is the stage I'm at now, but somehow the 2022/2023 payment slip isn't coming up, guess it'd be made available in the coming days.

You can't do anything serious without first paying the acceptance fee.

Don’t worry, what they meant was that no more admission form and vacancy to change course. If you have been given admission and have not done your screening, there will still be room to do the screening. This 2022/2023 admission is a special one just to fill vacant spots in each department, that’s why they will be joining the 2021/2022 set in their lectures.

Oh, okay. Cos I legit got scared. When they first released the result I saw 11 and not recommended then some weeks later I got a SMS that I have been admitted. When I checked on the portal I saw 59 recommended. Since then I've been on the portal everyday to check if there have been an update. I actually was checking for the acceptance fee on google when I saw that. Is this how unilag is generally regarding dissemination of information?
