What is GEJ's legacy?

I think Free and fair elections as a talk and maybe some actions too.
Re: What Is Gej's Legacy? by IDeyNL: 7:58am On Jan 30, 2022
Typical Yoruba man.

GEJ has left governance for about 7 years. Now leadership is being held by Buhari. But you chose to focus on GEJ.

Instead of you asking for Buhari/Osibanjo's legacies, but you ignored.

Typical of an Afonja.

GEJ did track repair and painted existing train. GEJ work on the train was shit let be honest.
Buhari signed the deal with CCC that did proper creating and refurbishing of tracks. Brought the NewGen Disel Train. Yes, he continued from GEJ's but let us be honest Buhari did 200% better than GEj on trains.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Rail track and trains.....Where exactly?

The 6 universities were named by him and still under construction and infrastructure upgrades till now, he takes glory for naming the universities that has led to increment of producing unemployment among the youths

His major legacy is institutionalised corruption to the extent of changing PDP slogans to " share the money "

That to me is also his greatest legacy. The fact that he handed over peacefully without attempting to bring down the whole country says a lot about the character of the man. The same could not be said for many other Presidents including the last US President.

After saying that, Jonathan was a failure in other indices. He tolerated and even supported corruption - ie Abah Moro, Dieziani Allison, Stella Oduah, Dasuki, subsidy scam, etc. He was incompetent in security - Chibok girls, UN building Bombed, Sambisa Forest was no go area, Boko Haram controlled 14 local govt areas, etc. In terms of economic policies he did not fare better - he was using excess petrodollars to support the naira, no actual infrastructural development, (as done by all previous governments), no economic plan or agenda. His only obsession was re-election.

Now, some distractionists or diversionists would ask "what about Buhari"? Well even though I think Buhari is failing on many fronts Jonathan failed, we can't start comparing until a few years after Buhari's term ends.

When we talk of legacy, we must wait until the term ends.

If you're not mischievous, you won't be focusing on GEJ when Bubu is at the twilight of his administration. The focus should be what has Bubu and APC achieved to warrant asking Nigerians to continue with APC at the center!

I was expecting this from the usual suspects - Diversion and distraction. That why I preempted you guys in my response. Read it again and respond appropriately.

By the way, for those saying, 'Buhari's legacy', there must be something to even have a discussion on. For instance, is there even a 'Buhari'?

Yea, I know there is a government. Unfortunately, there is no peace and sanity to even discuss about legacy. Talk about Gowon's legacy during wartime? See, Buhari, as a personality, can't even be vouched for. Always broadcasting recorded speeches. You need to understand who indeed is Buhari before talking about his legacies.
