*Chibuike Amaechi must link up and deal with those who love him ~ Prof. Chris Ekong*

The Dean of Social Sciences in University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Prof. Christopher Ekong said Nigerians love the Minister of Transportation, but he must link up and deal with them.
Speaking in a town hall meeting organized by Bridge Builders Initiative For Green Nigeria, BBIGN, a socio-political pressure mobilizing for Amaechi presidential ambition, the former Commissioner for Sports and Culture during the previous administrations of Victor Attah and God'swill Akpabio said that Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi will succeed if only he will deal with those who love him than those who are envying and deceiving him.
He said; National President of BBIGN, Dr. Emmanuel Orgwu. I must confess to you that we love Amaechi.
Before you came to woo me to join Amaechi 2023 project, my wife has been disturbing me to work for Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. My wife has not met him before, but she can do anything for Amaechi's sake.
But I have problems. I do not know how to lie or deceive people. At my level, I am not looking for anything. I worked in Shell. I resigned to join politics. Obong Victor Attah appointed me Commissioner for Sports and Culture. I was also a Commissioner for Economic Development when Senator Akpabio was governor. Now, I am a lecturer at University of Uyo.
I am very skeptical because Amaechi is dealing with those who are deceiving him, and envious of his great achievement.
You said I should join this project. You have sent delegation twice to me, and today, you are here by yourself.
I have agreed with you. I have declared and I have joined.
From now, you will see what will happen in Akwa Ibom State. But Chibuike Amaechi must link up with those who truly love him. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is spending money on things should have ordinarily gotten out of good will. His friends are not with the people here. He may not know that they are lying to him. We are the locals, we know everything.
Again, Amaechi must know that we do not have party in Akwa Ibom State. When the reconciliation committee came to Akwa Ibom State, I told them that there is no APC in Akwa Ibom State. What we have are personalities championing different groups. I have told them to come let us build the party first before we talk about interests. How do we win elections in APC when there is no party?
There is a big gap between the big men in APC and the people.
We must do something and I am assuring you that we will change the narratives. I will call Akwa Ibom people and we will move for Amaechi.
The National President of BBIGN, Dr. Emmanuel Orgwu thanked the erudite Professor and other leaders present.
He said; Prof. I am very grateful. I want to thank your wife too for helping me to convince you. When Engr. Abasido Essiet told me that you said you are no longer interested in politics because the political elites are not taking care of the grassroots, I was sad. Before I came here to convince you, I fasted and prayed. Thank God he answered my prayer. I was wondering how we are going to succeed without you. You are the nightmare of PDP in Akwa Ibom State. Anywhere you go, Akwa Ibom people follow you. It is unfortunate that people have been taking your glory. When you finish working, they will sample themselves as if they are the ones who did it. Prof. please come and take your glory. Stop allowing people to use your works to shine. Let us work for Amaechi with our whole hearts. I want you to say something to Akwa Ibom people. I know you. I know that once you say something, Akwa Ibom people will follow Amaechi. It is not about money and big names, it is about character. You share common attitude with Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, so you fits each other.

The National President also thanked those who accompanied him to the town hall meeting.
