Man is a tripartite being, he is a Spirit who lives in a body and has a mind. He is made of these 3 things.

For the body, the man has medical doctors, physicians and all other agents who attend to the physical being, for the mind we have mentors, teachers and all other agents that seek to guide your mind, your thinking and your emotions. There's only one truth you need to know about spirituality and it is ALL OF IT IS A LIE

Human beings like you came up with that concept to explain the unexplainable at the time and somehow it stuck and has been passed down from generations.
