Hello everyone, Please I need a quick advice.

I have filled my uk tourist visa application but yet to submit and I have some concern about the proof of fund.

I own a company and I earn about 5ook every month even though I spend more than that monthly. In the application I said will spend about 2.4 millin for the trip and I will be contributing 6ook from my personal account to the trip while my company which I am the sole proprietor of will support with 1.8m.

The question is, do have to maintain more than 6ook in my personal account and more than 1.8m in my business account for about 30 days before submitting the application?
Is the proportion of contribution good enough?

Is there anything I’m missing out?

Yes. Filling that you intend to use your business funds for a tourist trip i think would only end with denial paragraph 4.2 quote. So sort that out pls and then other issues could be looked at.

Hi everyone, please I received this email from the visa office this afternoon. Please what does this mean and what's to be done? My 15 w/d ends next week Wednesday. Please advice, thanks

Meant they have received your application, and looking at your circumstances but some parts aren't clear and as such decision on your application may take longer time than the 15 WD.

I package the first application that she was planning to visit her aunty. They claimed that they can’t established any relationship between her and the so called aunty.

So I used hotel booking instead of her aunty for the 2nd application.

Good evening house, please I need an enquiry on the amount needed to process a one month visiting UK visa..........Thanks in advance.

£95 for standard application- up to 6 months. Other quotes are personal choices and would be based on your own personal circumstances

Please can you emphasize more on what you mean about the personal circumstances

Well, if you decide to go for premium services, priority services, courier service all these would add to the £95.
Then if your place of stay for the month visit would be a castle you would have to provide financial documents to show you are able to adequately sustain yourself during your visit.
And then if you says you going for religious isolation/personal retreat, ie you gonna stay in a foldable tent you would be traveling with, fast for period of your visit then you could provide a lesser budget. These and more are your choices and circumstances. Hope this was helpful?

Hello House,

Do you get an email with a rejection letter if you are denied a visa, or do they still attach a physical letter to your passport ?

You don’t need to do it if your destination country doesn’t require it. But you know our Nigerian airport check-in agents…… they might want to eat from you.

Please is 2 million naira enough? And does it have to be in your account for 6 months or 30 days before you submit your application?

I don't think it works that way. People with a 5m balance can get rejected while others with 1m get the visa.

1 Do not resort to inflation, sending through large deposits within the six-month period. So, money should definitely have been there before the 6 months; talkless of 30 days.

2 The money isn't meant to be idle. That's trying to game the system and you'll be flagged. Spend as you normally would in your personal account, leaving some each month so that is accumulated to a healthy balance. Your balance will be reviewed versus your claimed income, expenses and proof of job or business.

3 Review the statement first before you indicate your income, expenditure, and budget. Make sure the annual income matches the statement income. Annual income should ideally be X2 of your 6month statement. The expenditure should also follow the same principles.

4 Budget for the trip should ideally not exceed 2 months’ income. There is no hard and fast rule about this, but people have been rejected for a budget that was X4 their income.

5 However, ensure this budget covers your entire trip. Breakdown flight, accommodation, food, transport and a little bit for shopping and entertainment (not mandatory). Below is my personal budget guide which I came up with myself and is by no means prescriptive, but you can review, and tweak as needed. This will help guide to ensure your budget, length of trip and available balance are all in sync.
Flight- £564
Accommodation- £50/Day (unless you’re staying with a friend)
Food- £20/day
Transport- £10-15/day

Optional
Shopping- Variable
Entertainment- Variable

6 I personally advise that you try to ensure that the available balance in your account is 2X the budget for the trip. Because they expect that you have funds to go back to when you get back home. So, you can use your available balance to work backwards to see the budget you have available for the trip and therefore the number of days you can afford to stay. Others have gotten their visa with a 500k balance but it’s better safe than sorry.

These are my thoughts and of course there have been exceptions to the rules, both positive and negative. All the best!

Please help if you have been in this situation before:

We gave a family friend an invitation letter to visit the UK. Home office then called yesterday, spoke with my husband and then requested to speak to me too. They got my number from him, called me twice but I missed their calls(we don’t receive calls at work), saw the missed call an hour later after work.
What can be done please? Is there an email address I could reach them on? Or will they deny him outright because I missed their calls?

Thanks.

Hello,
Well, someone dear to me in the past was and was deniedin parts based on the missed call.. The aunt who was indicated in the application as part sponsor of the trip missed calls the from UKVI, when a decision was made that was included as one of the reasons.
However, your family friend's case might be different as they spoke with your husband and you missed the call, that is I am assuming that the checks made on him is sufficient to reach a positive decision, however, If it a decision had not yet been made and you wish and can write them, pls go ahead.. Never say never

Honestly in that regards I don't know which medium you could write to, but you may want to try the paid mail or call contacts.

Similarly, if it would go through, you may want to return calls to the number you missed.

what is your intention for travel… not what your cousin said but what’s the trip for?
Per your last refusal letter, ECO smelt something fishy.. looked like a ‘cooked’ profile.
