This is a popular phrase I've been seeing and hearing.
Let's clear the air now��

That's correct tho but have you tried asking, *how do you make the money You've been claiming?*

It is easier to criticize something if you have little or no knowledge about it.

*Now, this is it*��

AFFILIATE MARKETING is a *business model and not a skill* For you to be a successful affiliate marketer, you need at least 4-5 skills put together to make it big in the industry and that is *why you pay affiliate networks to teach you*

*Some Of The Skills Are:*
*Copywriting*
*Funnel building*
*Content creation*
*Social media marketing*
*Sales* etc

Let's talk about why they tell you to buy.
*Notice that we all have our favourite niches*

*Niche* is that part of business you really wanna focus on.

*Some focuses on selling things that deals with health( that's health niche).*
*Some focuses on weight loss and other stuff( Wellness etc)*
*Some only focuses on selling electronic gadgets.*
While some focuses on selling things like courses, books, webinars that will teach you on how to make money online.*

That said....
*So, affiliate marketing is such that without sales, your commission won't come to you.*
You make a sale and you're given commission.

Remember that most of the products being sold are not their but for an affiliate network they've signed with.

So If I tell you to buy this course on YouTube monetization and it goes for 50k and my commission is 25k.

If I sell 10 copies, that's 25k X 10= 250k

Do you see how it works... So if I'm making money, telling you to buy is because sales is what gives me the commission.
