The fact that you have urge to fornicate does not make alcohol a bad thing, if you can't control your urge stay away from it and stop labelling it bad. I don't eat beans cos it gives me heartburn, but it doesn't it make eating beans bad and I don't go around telling people not to eat it.

Alcohol may not be a sin.....But where the problem lies is the after effects....

Alcohol will always make you to think about fornication...
Alcohol will always make you to think to commit mastabation
Alcohol breed anger and hyperactiveness

The sad event is just enormous, if it is possible to avoid it, kindly avoid it.....

I have the urge to fornicate whenever I take alcohol....

You are the ignorant one here, in Jewish culture, it is used for many spiritual purposes including prayers sef, at the wedding it was alcoholic wine same way the use it to bless the family at the end of Shabbat, unfortunately all of you people rely on information from people without knowledge but claim its from the holy Spirit

Just imagine how shallow your reasoning is.

Not all wine were alcoholic, yet you believe that which Jesus turned water to, which was said to be 'good wine" was alcoholic.

Did Jesus brew the wine?

Have you ever heard of water being turned to wine before?

Have you ever seen or tasted water that was turned to wine before to conclude that it was alcoholic?

You obviously don't even believe that Jesus turned water to wine, but just chasing straws.

What makes any liquid to be called wine is the content of alcohol... Else, it's simply juice. You can check the dictionary meaning of wine to be more clarified. .... There's nothing like alcoholic wine or none alcoholic wine,,,, anything wine is alcoholic. I think one of our major problem with the bible is the use of words.... English is never ours and we end up reading the bible without dictionary by the side.

You are the ignorant one here...yes all wine are alcohol not until the late 17th century. Even now a non-alcoholic wine has about 0.5 to 2.5 alcohol.

This comment of yours puts alcohol on the opposite side of where it actually is;

Alcohol reduces sexual urge and does not increase it, so talking about sex and masturbation does not come in here
Alcohol actually calms you down when you're angry; it doesn't increase your anger.

one thing we should keep in mind though, is that too much of anything is bad

Lol!

Keep deceiving yourselves.

Numbers can never change the fact that Jesus didn't turn the water into alcohol.

If your Jesus did it, that means your Jesus is not mine.

Which always makes me wonder; who have people been worshipping? Jesus said "John was not drinking or eating. They said he had a devil. He came drinking and eating. They called Him a winebibber..." What was it that John was not drinking? Water? Fruit juice? What was Jesus drinking? Water? Fruit juice? You've ever seen the word drunkard used for a person known to love drinking Fanta, right?
Anything that makes you feel cool, though. I'm not the kind of Christian that we feel "if I don't like something, then it's a sin", when scripture didn't say so. And by the way, I'm not even near being an alcoholic.

You should wonder very well because if your Jesus drank alcohol, my mine never did.

If your Jesus said He came drinking alcohol, mine never said that but that He came eating and drinking, meaning He wasn't fasting as John was doing. That was why they said John had a devil. Because he was hardly eating food and dranking water or non alcoholic drinks as Jesus and His disciples were doing. You should look up the instance they asked why His disciples weren't fasting as the disciples of John and theirs were doing and the response of Jesus. It had nothing to do with taking alcohol, but fasting and not fasting.

But your inclination would make you immediately assume that it spoke of taking alcohol and not taking alcohol.

So going by your logic, you must also think John was not eating food at all, because Jesus said he was not eating and drinking right?

The wise know it meant John was fasting.

I have never said drinking alcohol was a sin, but that it's not wise to drink it, especially for true believers, because it could lead someone to commit sin and to misbehave. Even if I drink or like alcohol, I wouldn't try to pin it on Jesus or use Him to justify it as all cost even if it's false as you're doing.

I would not be comfortable with it just as other bad habits I've had, some of which I've shared here, but would ask God to help me overcome the urge to continue in it. That's my own way because i can't afford anything that would be detrimental to my chances of being all that God wants me to be, but obviously you don't take the things of God that seriously, so I understand where you're coming from.

Yeah yeah. I forgot the Pharisees went about calling anyone that ever drank water a wine bibber. Anything that floats your boat though. I've met so many people like I don't even bother trying to convince them.

Anyone seen not eating or drinking, and being unkempt can be referred to as a mad man by people that don't understand him (or those that try to mock him). Just like anyone seen drinking alcohol can be referred to as a drunkard by people who don't know him or understand him as taking the alcohol moderately, or those that have issues with him and want to just use the fact he drinks at all to smear his image. Is it now clear to you? Not that I care if you got it or not. It's not easy to cure an adult of whatever he's been holding tight for a very long time.

You make me laugh hard taking seriously the saying of the Pharisees who hated the guts of Jesus and John to the last, and could falsely accuse them of anything.

You really think they needed to see John unkempt or not eating and drinking to call him a mad man right? You must have forgotten they also accused Jesus of being a mad man too, so what has being unkempt and not eating and drinking got to do with it?

If you also think they needed to see Jesus drinking alcohol to accuse Him being drunk right, you don't know the Pharisees, but since they seem to justify you, hold fast to their saying if you like, but just so you know, it's hard for anyone who takes the lies and false accusations of those enemies of Jesus seriously, to also take His own Words seriously.

Jesus never drank nor turned water to wine. If you like believe it or not, it doesn't change that fact.

I'm out.

He created Alcohol dehydrogenase to metabolize ethanol and contribute to clearing it from your blood 1 . If alcohol was wonderful why did God put an enzyme in you to clear it out of your body ehn, Mr Scientist? Why swallow something toxic and then rely on your body's response to deal with it. I just taya for human beings. If you want to drink you are welcome oh. Happy drinking!!! Set awon shayo master.

Metabolize ethanol and clear it from the system you said, what happens to it's metabolic products.
