CREDIT UNION (peer to peer loan)
✓The group name must be decided prior before creation
✓The group must consist of 10 members and each member must have made their contribution before the group becomes active
✓An active group can disburse 3 loans simultaneously and each loan amount is double or triple the initial contribution
✓Members are to pay a non refundable fee of NGN 1,000 before participating in a group and an additional NGN 1,000 for a new loan application request
✓Each loan has a maturity date of 3 months and payment must be done before that date
✓After the maturity date and payment has not been made the group will be suspended
✓A suspended group will be unable to disburse loan to it's members until the debt is paid
✓The complete cycle for the credit union is 40 loans after which the group is closed and each member gets back their initial contribution

Please note our platform is a contributory platform and is only interested in contribution and disbursement of funds respectively and not interested in defaults or deliquent members therefore each member becomes each other guarantor and solely responsible for their actions thus always endeavor to do your due diligence before joining or accepting anyone to your group.

Case study 1: beneficiary to P2P loan

A group of 10 friends were having their end of the year party when one of them mentioned the ajoopay platform to the others telling them that they could all save a particular amount and access their savings as a non interest loan.
