A doctorate degree holder from the University of Ilorin has postulates a concept that might be a lasting solution to the epileptic system of Nigerian university education as a result of constant strike actions usually embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) in Nigeria.

In his post, he recommends that a special account number should be given out to public where philanthropist who have gone through the University system in Nigeria can donate a token to salvage the deteriorating condition of our university education due to strike by ASUU. As it has been observed that public university funding is always the cause of loggerhead between government and the most important fragments of the University workers (ASUU). Thus, this recommendation from him.

Facebook users have made complementary comments on Dr Woli Jimoh's post, but many cannot assure him if his idea will be adopted or considered by the group concerned.

FG vs ASUU crises is somehow selfish. i mean both the parties have selfish interest. some of their demands are beyond donation. some of their demands only the goverment can fulfill. and the government is not serious particularly with the education sector
