A man on twitter, has taken a deeply controversial stance by challenging a belief that holds firm in most Nigerian hearts: the authenticity of juju. He claims that juju is not real, or at least that it's not supernatural, but a mixture of natural tricks that majority of people cannot easily understand. There has even been a cash prize to that effect, a N1m reward for who can prove that juju actually works. He's received a lot of negative comments and even death threats from many people, but his resolve is firm. He's even started attending Television shows to debate priests and other believers in voodoo magic. Movements like these are probably stupid or maybe even crucial in a highly superstitious environment like Nigeria's. What are your thoughts? Lalasticlala 3 Likes

at the end of the day, nothing will happen because juju is fake,it doesn't work,if it did that guy would be dead,all these useless talks of 'come to my village' or 'visit one place' na scam. he should be careful sha because to kidnap and kill no dey hard religious people. 6 Likes |

NOBODY WILL HONOR THIS CHALLENGE. THEY'LL TELL YOU THEIR GOD(S) CANNOT BE TESTED, SO HE/SHE/IT WON'T BE AVAILABLE FOR ANY ACTIONS. THEY'LL ALSO TELL YOU THAT TO WITNESS THE TRUEST EFFICACY OF JUJU THAT YOU NEED TO LEAVE YOUR RESIDENCE IN BENGAL OR DAMATURU AND HEAD DOWN TO AN UNKNOWN FOREST SOMEWHERE IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF NIGERIA TO MEET ONE RUSTY BABA. THEIR CLAIMS FOR THE POWER OF JUJU HAS NO END, JUST LIKE FOR THEIR EXCUSES FOR THE FAILURES OF THE SAME JUJU. REMINDS ME OF THE JAMES RANDI CHALLENGE WITH A CASH PRIZE OF $1 MILLION FOR TESTING THIS SAME JUJU/MAGIC, THAT REMAINED UNCLAIMED FOR SEVERAL DECADES UNTIL JAMES' PASSING A FEW YEARS AGO. Juju is real but nothing supernatural about it. It is blend of tricks, herbs/drugs and occultism. Juju is an unexplained science based on current understanding because its practitioners keep its methodologies as ancient secrets. |

Na another chance be dis but they won't show up, all they will be doing is giving stupid excuses such as "Our juju not meant for the tempting, come to this place, come to that place, the rest would be history". All they will be doing is instill fear in people and making empty threats. If you are assured your juju is that much superb and efficacious, teleport from anywhere you are and come meet the man to harm him since you claim the ability of those supernatural stuffs with your juju. Or, just harm him from whereever you are since you have the ability of that one also. He can't be so folish to just go to meet someone in private or undisclosed forest where they could murder him because of hate he is trying to reveals your lies and falsehood. 5 Likes |
