I'll make this short. So about a few weeks back a man bought a couple of items at the shop in bulk.

Few days later I used the money to restock. fastfoward today, I went to get somethings from the market, and one of the shops called my attention to an amount i spent weeks ago, claiming an amount of the money are fake. I was stunned, cause I was sure I don't Deal like that.
After much hassle, He showed me the difference and all of as sudden it became clear i was tricked by the man who bought bulk items in a haste free weeks back cause the time frame was about right we found a way to settle and i apologized I went home to check all the remaining cash and they are free of the fake money

The problem is what do I do with the fake money with me. Also is there a way I can report this fraud without it coming back to me?
Has anyone experienced such how did you go about? Thank you

Trash the money. It’s going to be hard but it will be the right thing to do.

How much is it

The funny part is making money is easy yet people always want shortcuts. Report the fraud then hang a sample of the money somewhere visible so future shoppers can identify counterfeit notes before purchase. You shouldn’t care if it comes back to you because the person should know he can’t get away with crime.

How are you sure the person that called your attention to the fake note didn't just pin the fake note on you? Are you really sure it was the money you spent for her? I mean, it's been a while and you can't trust anyone. That said, just punch a hole on the fake note(s) and tape them to the wall in your shop and be more careful... it's your loss now because even if you see that man you claimed paid it to you, he can't take it back because you have no proof it's his money
