There's one fine road from Obot Akara to Arochukwu, with bridge and coconut plantation by the sides.
That road is very beautiful to behold.

The bridge on the road is cool but the road itself is fast deteriorating. Some portions already have potholes

Since Lagos built Cable stay bridge, every Tom, Dick and Harry too is building cable stay even when the cable is not needed nor adding to the strength of the bridge. Some will even use ordinary NEPA wire to supposedly hold a bridge. Confused contractor/designers everywhere.

Emmanuel Udom is one of the Governors that can beat their chest and bid for the presidency relying on their achievements as governors to speak for them.

But it is Igbo’s turn in 2023 so he should calm down and take ministerial appointment in the incoming PDP government.

Meanwhile the person that designed the roundabout below should be flogged at the market square.

How would the person entering the second road by the left navigate his way into the road if he is coming from that express?

He have to do navigate the roundabout at 180° to proceed.

There's a different between quality roads and beautiful roads......

Quality can only be ascertain by d level of usage..e.g roads in lagos r d busiest in Nigeria as all manner of container trucks, tankers and d amount of vehicle using it....all container trucks and tankers pass through lagos b4 going to any other state and with d population in lagos it will be wrong to say dis road that did not experience 5% of what lagos road experience is more quality than lagos roads....presently nw d new roads in lagos r made with concretes
hmmm

Udom and the subsequent Governments in the state should be more focused on Human Capital rather than road construction.
The road they keep constructing here and there, how many of its people have cars to ply the road aside from the political class and a handful of public servants.

Very impressive. Unfortunately there is a no go area between most of the rest of Nigeria and Akwa Ibom so most of us will never get to see or experience this good development. Nobody wants to get shot by terrorists!

Rather frustrating for a governor to be doing well to attract growth only for efforts to be hampered by the actions of others.

Akwa ibom is the safers state in Nigeria and pls there is no terrorism in Akwa ibom ok

Meaning only politicians are remaining in the state. The rest often citizens are either death or ran away.... grin

Please read my post again and answer "how do you get to Akwa Ibom from other parts of Nigeria e.g Abuja or Lagos"? We are talking about roads abi? The roads you will drive on to get to Akwa Ibom are they safe? Did I say Akwa Ibom is not safe? When we say Nigerians speak English but do not understand English they will complain.

Why would they pad the budget, then half the money to make a substandard road? It just doesn't make sense. There are roads from ten years ago in akwa ibom that is still standing, no fear of raining season. Those roads were created with the best materials.
I'm just saying, why can't they just do it once instead of Making a substandard road and repairing it over and over again just for some rubbish PR.
but you since yo be senseless, I can’t believe after class erecting you that the road construction is still ongoing , you still the masturbate on this same yarn

Akwa ibom have the best quality of roads after Abuja in nigeria..

You can move to any city and towns in Akwa ibom within 1hr from the capital uyo..

Every local government headquarters in Enugu is 30 Minutes away from the Capital city.

1hr in Akwaibom is like 1000 years in Enugu

He was killed by local cultists.. Uyo is a beurifull city but just like any other developing city, it has its challenges..
They kidnapped him and asked him for hundreds of millions of naira. His family sold everything and paid millions. The lady that contracted the job to the hoodlums was even someone he was helping in the neighborhood. He saw her while she was visiting the kidnapers and they killed him..
that case was trace back home , the lady in question was even an Igbo
