We are now on the same page. I have always said that Putin's concerns are legitimate, but the way he is going about it is completely wrong. He should not have fired the first shot. He should have threatened and imposed economic and military blockade on Ukraine but never war, unless of course he was fired upon either by Ukraine itself or its western backers. He absolutely has no justification to pull Russia into a war without the support or approval of the Russian people.

If he has done that he would have gotten the attention of the world leaders and the issue would have been negotiated without anyone losing face. Now the die is cast and everyone has dug in. Even countries like Germany and China that was a bit sympathetic to Russia has taken a hard stand against them. No one will back down now. An escalation of the war is inevitable.

It's awful to live in the 21st century and realize that wars are still on our planet. I always believe that nowadays all the problems have to be solved by diplomatic language, discussions and mutual engagement in this process. If two countries have some problems, then they have to appeal to the third side like it is happening in the arbitration courts. Everything is proclaimed in the international law actually. War is the worst outcome of unsolved problems between countries, because the victims are citizens, those ones who have never wasnted to capture or to attack other countries, they just want to live their life without any wars. Peacefully.
