The law says the minimum penalty for violatng the law, that they were found guilty of, is 3 years in jail or N10m fine.

How did this crooked Justice Musa Kurna decide to make it 3 months or N1m fine?

Please what is very in this good thing. The sentence is good but not very good because the culprits would not feel the pain of what they've done. The judge is too humanly.

They are now very disadvantaged in so many things. Forever they remain ex convicts... Which will go a long way to affect many things about them.. Regardless or the jail terms or option of fine.. What's most important is that they have been convicted.

A Federal High Court sitting in Jos, the Plateau State capital, has sentenced a former Minister of Water Resources, Mrs Sarah Ochekpe, to three months imprisonment.

The court also sentenced a former Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Raymond Dabo, and Evangelist Leo Sunday Jitung to three months imprisonment.

The judgment was delivered by Justice Musa Kurna on Tuesday.

DAILYPOST recalls that the three had been standing trial for the past four years on charges bordering on conspiracy and money laundering.

However, the sentence has an option of a fine of N1 million.
