UBA should just cancel it. What can $20 buy. It can barely buy anything in dirt cheap Walmart. Cannot barely pay for a meal other than junk food!!

There are countries with worse economies yet they still retain alternative pay systems that allow citizens spend and make transactions with any foreign currencies as they like . Unlike here where your Yahoo friends have virtually crippled all e-payment platforms like PayPal, Transwise and flutterwave from operating in Nigeria all because of cybercrimes. In fact, wasn't it for this same reason that CBN stopped cryptocurrency from operating in Nigeria ...? Mtchww...continue giving excuses for your Yahoo friends. Your unborn children go hear am . Mr if you are not enlighten stop talking rubbish... Our banks don't have enough dollars to balance so they need to operate with what they can afford

This is why it's good to make and recieve your money in Dollar so that banks won't tell you the amount of Dollar to spend online.

You don't know what you are saying. This issue has nothing to do with yahoo or whatever. It is difficult to get dollars as Nigeria imports so much, while we export less, leading to scarcity of dollars, poubds, euros etc

Fraudulent activities and illegal money laundering schemes. That's why PayPal and other payment methods don't operate in Nigeria anymore. It's also one of the reasons why your spending is limited on International transactions with all banks nationwide

This is not true at all. Stop saying what you don't know.
They don't have dollar anymore, that's the reason for this.
To help you understand, this is about naira card. With dollar card you can spend as much as you want.

The bank can't get dollars and therefore can't be able to settle everything you buy with your naira card.

I don't think so. Nigeria does not have access to US dollars because we are not a production based economy. We only buy so Forex is not coming in.
