Hello nairalanders, I need help about suggestion like things I can do like court cases to get this wicked man to pay me my rent balance back

early last year March I wanted to secure an apartment in uyo so that I can learn Computer repair to augment my self aware knowledge in computer engineering
so through a friend I got to know that there was a new room available for rent

when we approached the landlord he told me the place had already been secured and asked me that is I'm able to pay additional money that he'll give me the room and return the owners money back

we manage to get someone to also contribute money to pay but that person said we should pay our part that he's coming to pay the next day

we manage to persuade the landlord, unfortunately the next day the person absconded saying there was this and that financial issue with him

we told the landlord that I'll be moving in

this man lied to us that the other person has taken the place already that we should come the following week to collect the money completely

20k oh, after dodging us severally we manage to secure an apartment to stay but with the hope to collect the 20k balance and use it to pay the rent completely

but being a deaf person myself, this man kept on playing with my intelligence

it took him 3 months of begging before he gave me 10k half of the money

I had to cough up the remaining balance myself from withdrawing from my IT course since I can get the knowledge myself and used it to pay my rent balance,

not ever since that time last year to this year this man is pretending and giving angry face even when there's a new tenant and still refuse to pay back my 10k balance since last year

I may be broke and poor, but what I hate the most is people taking advantage of person's with disabilities,
so if possible how can I get him to repay my money back

if there's a legal way

when I make it in future I'll make sure this bad person cough up 5x that amount because what I'm facing now is not something I ever wish for

at least please give me your suggestions I'm tired of this rubbish

the painful truth about legal way is you are going to spend more than that 10k to get justice. My guy justice is not just. But I suggest don't leave the money for God even if you have use juju which I doubt it work.
