what you said initially is the truth. Do not apologise for saying the truth. He looked like a thief and acts like one. When they get in trouble they will call innocent young people to die with them. He should explain his wealth. Kingpin1000: 3 Likes |

During my days in high school, a certain boy used to come to school with Benz 190. Those days the car was a machine for those that just hit d Millionaire status especially those newly settled by their masters after serving oga for 6yrs or more. On a fateful day d young man in his exuberance went and parked at d space meant for the principal. When the principal got to school and saw the madness, he called the police to arrest the guy. The police in their usual professionalism started venting into the source of his wealth. The boy told them simply that he started making money the very day his mother gave birth to him. And the narrative is true for those of us that came from the east. You start making money the moment u are born. People will start giving money to your mom to buy pap and baby food for you. It's left to your mom to save, invest or 'chop all'. I'm not in anyways supporting the decay in the society, albeit obviously the young man is above 18 and has every right to own a car. In a working society most of u guys here should have owned ur own cars. Statistically, Nigeria happen to be the second car user behind USA. So give the young man breeze to breath. The rich oppress the poor and the poor oppressing themselves is all we see in Nigeria. |

Thorondor: Be involved in an odd minor incident first, then your file will be opened. No one harasses you until something happens. Get involved in a little public spat, domestic tussle, an accident..that’s when law enforcement will see a reason to do a serious background check on your social and economic activities. This is how it works. By the way, what makes you think your calls and emails aren’t being monitored? Did anyone query him before the accident? He didn’t indicate such in his foul cry. But I wonder why he finds it difficult to prove that his earnings are legal. Shouldn’t you be more concerned about that? All he needs is a lawyer and proofs lawful employment or business. Fraud is fast eroding the work ethic of hard work amongst young people. It has left the image of our nation irreparably damaged. It’s worth all the concern and worries. |
