The world football body governing FIFA is set to suspend Russia from Competitions until further notice.

The international Olympic committee (IOC) have suggested that Russia and Belarusian athletes and officials are all banned from "any organised" international competition.

FIFA's suspension means that Russia would be excluded from the men's World Cup qualifier playoffs in March.

Because of the breach of the 'Olympic truce' by Russian and Belarusian countries's government, the IOC have urged the sport leading (governing) bodies not to allow any Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete.
