Good day members,
Please I need some explanations on this issue bothering me, especially from Yoruba and Hausa speakers.

I am a young bachelor, I keep to myself due to endless gossips and drama from people, I am happy keeping to myself, and to avoid being provoked by idle minds, because I can be very angry when provoked.
Apart from my family and football teammates, I keep few friends.

But I noticed that people keep spinning different types of gossips about me, prominent among these is calling me "Fulani" sometimes before as a complementary gossip, but now mostly as a derogatory gossip are insult if I have an altercation with anybody.

I am interested in this particular term "Fulani" because I don't understand the context. And it seems it means different things to both Hausa and Yoruba speakers, in whatever context. I am not Fulani, Yoruba, nor Hausa.
Readers please explain this to me, especially those of you proficient in Hausa and Yoruba.
