New APC Chairman, Bello Dissolves Convention Planning Committee Members, Promise to Constitute New One

In what seemed to be his first official duty in office today, the new Chairman of the ruling party All Progressives Congress and Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello has dissolved the 1526 Convention Planning Committee Members constituted by the former Caretaker Committee Chairman of the party and Governor of Yobe Mala Buni.

Details of the dissolution will come later in the day

I do not think so sir. The committee earlier set up were designed to fail and ensure the convention does not hold.
I am not surprised PMB is taking this latest decision. He actually warned them when they presented the February 26th date to him and he approved it.
Prof Sagay just drew PMB's attention to how further delay can be dangerous and how the delay is out of selfish desire by HE Buni.

What broke the camel's back was the manner HE Buni got the PMB to approve March 26, announced it and Buni jetted to Germany under the excuse of ill health.

HE Buni was literally toying with our democracy with grave implications on national security. Many will argue that he behaved irresponsibly to this point he got booted out.

Stop deceiving yourself. Convention holds as scheduled. Nothing will stop the convention.
