Hello friends, just got my NYSC call-up letter and was posted to serve in Maiduguri, Borno state. My parents insist I boycott the service due to incessant bombings and killings by the Islamic Sec.(Boko Haram). Pls, I need u guys to advice me on how to get a redeployment cos I can afford to go for the orientation camping only but cant stay there. I grew up in south south and south east, studied in UNN but have never been to North. Your advise will be helpful pls. |

Why do you want to waste your time ? Doing what ? Do you have an Uncle who owns his own business ? Let him request for your presence to work with him. Don't serve: its a waste of time. |

I'd rather not serve than go to Boko Haram territory. You could as well go to a real war front in afghanistan instead of going for service in maiduguri |

U may go just 4 d orientation camp and work ur re-deployment back 2 ur state of choice there after. Or better still, re-mobilize for batch c. |
