For ikoyi that akara is big Na and thick I didn't even expect to see 50 naira akara.

Even in some interior parts of Lagos, akara is now 50 naira per piece you hardly see 20 naira own.

Vegetable oil is now expensive

3 liters laziz vegetable oil is about 4500-4700.

I moved to Lagos from Abuja recently, and have been struggling to adapt for several reasons.

1. Food costs a bit more in Lagos than in Abuja.

2. A-20 minute distance by foot costs at least #150-200 here, unlike in Abuja where it's at mostly #100.

3. Water(drinkable water) in Abuja was almost free, and very salubrious. Here at the island, you buy sachet water (pure water) which is the only affordable water that boasts of some minimal degree of purity.

I was shocked when I ordered for Akara of 250 and got those nearly invisible 5-balls. I nearly refused it, if not for the beautiful girl that was leering at me.
To be a man, no be bobo juice.

Will set-up a granulated beans business. That way, everyone can easily mix and fry their own akara.
Win win for everyone.
Interested in investing, holla me.

Common sense will have left you with no option but to buy 2 cupa of beans and make your own Akara.

---the rise of dollars is affecting price of goods and services---generally lagos is very expensive to reside---oyo state is much better---

Cut your coat according to your cloth.

If you cannot afford to live in Ikoyi then you have no business living there!

Bean powder has been there since 1802. What is new about it to attract investors? The decision to use fresh beans is not for a lack of options, it simply tastes better. smiley

Liar.

Before making some assertion, know that there are people currently in SouthEast.

This Akara is going for #200 in Onitsha, Awka and Enugu.

Food is relatively cheap in SouthEast except frozen fish and meat which is same everywhere in Nigeria.

The only issue confronting SE residents is high cost of accommodation and lack of business friendly atmosphere due to excessive tax and levies.

I bursted ur lies to clear wrong assumption because I know you are not in the East as we speak.

Oga pls if there is one person u should ignore...... shortlgboman aka almaiga. Ignore him, he has neva made any sense in his comments. Just senseless and dense comments

Lol...no be small thing.

I also relocated from Abuja to Ikeja, Lagos recently and I can relate to all what you just pointed out. The costs of foodstuffs and transport are extremely extortionate!

The day I was looking for where to watch match, I boarded a keke and was charged N100, a place I could trek to within 10mins. Since then, I haven't bothered to stop keke if I want to hit the viewing center.

On the contrary, here is very sane and conducive for business. I have also noticed that only provision items are relatively cheaper compared to those of Abuja's.

N250 isn't bad for the Ankara, u think its even cheap. We started buying a good size for N100 over 3 to 4 years ago

It’s cheap by Lagos standards only bt not northern standards where beans are major food stuffs are very cheap.
