Experience is not what happen to you, but what you do with what happen to you.

So many people spend their lives gathering experiences without using them, they are bold to talk about their experience in so and so but fail to utilize it for their own benefit. Experience whether it is negative or positive is vain, except vital lessons are drawn from them and put to work. Matthew 7:24. It is only those that learn from their mistakes that see the miracle that lies in it.(Paraphrased by me)Experience is a boost to life's C.V if you can put them to work in the positive.Be blessed in Jesus precious name.

Experience is experience. It doesn't matter what you do or don't do about it.
Like wisdom, wisdom is knowledge applied. Experience is just experience. If I played football for one hour, I can boldly say I've had football playing experience. I don't have to have played like Ronaldo.

You are wrong . Not all experience one should experienced personally e.g having a car crash...

If you have read about those who drive recklessly, drink and drive or always busy on phone while driving and had accident, there experiences should be enough to guide you when you are driving..

Most of the experiences I have learned in life are from friends mistakes, which won't even bother me to make any attempt. Cos their mistakes are full of regrets

Nothing can be further from the truth.
Going by the dictionary definition of the word experience, this assertion is wrong.
As proof, here's how the oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary defines experience.

1. The effect upon the judgment or feelings produced by any event, whether witnessed or participated in; personal and direct impressions as contrasted with description or fancies; personal acquaintance; actual enjoyment or suffering.
It was an experience he would not soon forget.

2. (countable) An activity one has performed.
(countable) A collection of events and/or activities from which an individual or group may gather knowledge, opinions, and skills.

3. (uncountable) The knowledge thus gathered.
(obsolete, uncountable) Trial; a test or experiment.
