Asides the regular harassment from the re-branded SARS operatives. The town is the most peaceful presently in the south east.

Anambra currently is under siege by unknown militants disguising as ESN and IPOB members. The security presence in Anambra has been reduced to zero. I was supposed to attend a funeral with my freinds last week but I backed out. A journey of 2hrs became 4 hours all because they were navigating through safer routes into the state. These unknown armed men now mount road blocks, Kidnap travelers, snatch cars from people at gunpoint and won't hesitate to kill if they suspect you to be a Force man or a government official. They as well go about disarming vilgilante groups in different communities in the state and so many more atrocities.

I hope the Incoming Governor restores peace and normalcy in the state.

I am a full blooded Anambra man and I am not foolish. I created this thread because I am bothered about the latest situation of things.

I doubt you know the meaning of a ghost town. Legit and hardworking business men reside there too and I believe every town has a mixture of both the good and bad. No dey yarn rubbish

When I say regular I mean it has been existing before now, which I believe lead to the nationwide EndSARS protest. Even in places like Lagos people are still being harassed and intimidated by these rogue officers. Which 80% of their victims is the youth. I said it is the most peaceful because there have not been any recent attacks from these unknown gun men there. The Monday sit at home is gradually becoming a thing of the past, but I can't say the same for other eastern states.
