Plastic Waste has become one of the most pressing environmental issues today, as rapidly increasing production of disposable plastic products is increasing daily due to its need for packaging materials, this overwhelms the world’s ability to deal with plastic waste. Plastic pollution is most visible in African nations, where garbage collection systems are often inefficient or non-existent. But the developed world, especially in countries with low recycling rates, also has trouble properly collecting discarded plastics. Green Environment Initiative is an Environmental enthusiastic group of individuals, with a mandate to remove plastic waste from our environment. Plastic bottles waste takes about 500 years to decompose, that is decomposition will occur in our fourth to fifth generation, then the environment will be endangered by the plastic bottles will use today. Mr Emeka Nworgu, who is an Environmental expert, founded the Green Environment Initiative, where he invited other professionals to solve the problem of plastic waste in our environment.
