Ahead of the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Pastor David Ibiyeomie has advised Nigerians to vote only those with vision to move the county forward.

The popular gospel preacher who stated this during a sermon in Port Harcourt, urged Nigerians not to vote based on party, saying all the political parties in the country had failed the nation.

He cautioned against voting politicians instead of statesmen, explaining that politicians are present minded people while a statesman is someone who is concerned about next generations.

He said, “Don’t vote for a party again in Nigeria, vote people with vision. All the parties have disappointed us, now vote somebody who is visionary. Nigeria needs somebody who has a vision not somebody who is in a party.


“What we need now is not part, religion or tribe. All we need is a visionary person to bring Nigeria out. No politician should be voted, vote a statesman. A statesman thinks about the next generation while a politician thinks of 2023.

“Anybody thinking about 2023 is a politician, he will win, he will destroy you. If you take money to vote, you have sold your conscience”

The ultimate blame for bad results must go to the citizens... they elect the men who write the laws..that create the conditions in which the people will prosper or perish...

The voter must be fully informed and know clearly for whom and what he/she is voting...So ultimate responsibility for bad laws and policies goes to the citizens and especially those who aren’t politically engaged at all...

People get the Government they deserve... If people believe that their religion or language identity is more important than the economic policies and performances of the Government then even a good politician cannot do much in power..

He is right. Enough of all these Mediocres politicians and desperadose looking for retirement when they should resting or be Elderly statesmen..
Nigeria needs people with will power and guts to correct abnormalities in the Nation and not mediocres and corrupt men.

Clearly. The Parties should do the needful and select the right persons to fly their tickets.

We don't want to be seeing Atiku or Tinubu contesting against themselves in 2023 and then Nigerians are placed in the 2019 dilemma of choosing the lesser evil. NIGERIA will be Great.
