I was still in bed when my neighbour came knocking... Immediately I opened the door,the first thing he told me was "Bros, how far? You don hear wetin dey happen for town this early morning"? I said no.

She said there was massacre in town and pastor has warned everybody to remain wherever they are. I was really scared.

The next thing I heard was April Fool undecided shocked and she ran away.

I was with a construction company monitoring Airtel fiber cable (to forestall avoidable cut) while the road construction was going on a Federal govt road. While at it, one okada man just rode to where we were and said to us, "Remove the helmets and the reflective jackets; anything that could identify you as a staff of the construction company because some touts are injuring and breaking the head of anyone who has the helmet and reflective jacket on. One of your machines had injured an indigene down there & it has led to riot" and rode off. He made it look so serious that everyone took off the PPE, threw away and began to run helter-skelter. Though I wasn't their staff, but with my PPE on, I don't think those guys would give me a hearing before jumping on me.

We couldn't help laughing when we later realized that the okada man was only fooling around.
