I went to church today and it was quite interesting.

The Holy Spirit will soon arrest you. I can't wait for the day when @LordReed begins to preach the word of God. It'll be an awesome testimony. You'll be the Paul of this generation grin

Just wondering if the Church environment makes you uncomfortable and you just want to leave the places. Or it's all fun like when you still a Christian.
As a Christian, do you go to hindu temple?

Lol... because you're an atheist na and I'm sure you don't like religious folks attempting to get you to convert to their religion which I'm guessing your wife has been doing for a while and thus your reason for attending church, no?
My girlfriend is a religious person, she knows that I am an atheist, she respects that and I respect her beliefs. The problem will start when you try to convert me and you try to start taking some key decisions from your beliefs.
Some people have beliefs but they are not really keen on it, that's my girlfriend and I love her so much that I am proposing to her.

I cannot date a very religious lady, when I figure that a lady is too religious, I play religious, fvck her because I know most of them are hypocrites just probably like you and then let her go.

Your wife is a hypocrite. No true Bible believing Christian will marry an atheist.

So where is this hell, have any evidence it exists?

I would ask you again, what would you consider as evidence for hell's existence? Because I have evidence but somehow I doubt that it will be sufficient for you.

Well the first evidence is the Bible and the other evidence has the Bible as its basis.

The second evidence is the personal accounts of people who have been there in visions. There are many of such accounts on youtube. I'll give you some:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLimoqZUWgw

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tC0VOx4M5ZE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYxKRoONrfY

The third one even has a book that documents everything he shared during the sermon. I really do hope you watch and reconsider your beliefs.

Tolerating each other doesn't mean that we turn a blind eye to people who are going astray. Your girlfriend isn't a true Christian. I'm sure that you guys were already sexually involved with each other before you married. There is sufficient scripture that teaches that Christians should not be romantically involved or unequally yoked with unbelievers.

What if everyone believes the other person is going astray like you do. I can also say that you are going astray being a Christian.
Be tolerant, don't think you beliefs are the universal truth dude.

Truth is absolute and not relative. In the end the truth is that only one of us is right and the other is wrong. We all can't be right all together.

See who is talking. Don't you atheists believe that your beliefs are the universal truth? See pot calling kettle black.

There are even accounts of people from other religions dying and seeing hell. Muslims, etc.

Did you even watch the videos? What do you have to say about them? Do you think the people are lying? Why would they be lying? The atheist died as an atheist and has absolutely no reason to lie.

So if a Buddhist has a NDE and sees Buddha it's a sign I should become Buddhist?

BTW I don't think people in general are lying about their experiences even though some of them do lie to make theirs seem more significant but I think the situation more complicated than people think and it is only complicated because our brains are complicated. All those experiences are all in our heads. I had a dream and Jesus told me so in the dream, do you doubt my experience?

Okay, so I don't know of any accounts of people who saw buddah during a near death experience/

It is impossible for people to all see the same thing when they have a near death experience. Especially atheists, because they don't believe in those things.

It is more than the brain. Normally when we dream we forget the things that we dream almost immediately after waking up. But these people don't just see they also feel and experience things the same way they would if they were to experience them in the physical world.

Also, what reason do they have to lie? Its not like they receive money for sharing their testimony

I just told you I saw Jesus and he told me it's all in your head, what reason would I have to lie?

These are not the same thing and you know it. None of these say anything about seeing buddah. And they are not as clear and detailed as the accounts I shared with you.

This conversation is about afterlife not Buddha. Their NDEs apparently validate their beliefs so I ask you once again should I consider their testimonies as valid and become a Buddhist?

Okay. I see where you are coming from now. Anyways my advise still remains the same. Seek to know the truth for yourself. Out of all these religions only one of them is right... they all can't be right.

If you'll seek God honestly you will find Him.

You know it is quite funny that Christians don't have a single knowledge of how the mind works Bros u see this thing dey call the mind is very deep in the Buddhist once you begin to learn meditation dey will tell you don't take anything u see serious because it will hinder your growth and how deep you can go within yourself during meditation the subconscious mind can play a serious trick on you the Buddhist don't take it serious at the begining because you will see thing and they will look fucking real but quesa what that is the subconscious mind at work but the more you meditate you will begin to go deeper and deeper and from their u will experience things that u Neva believe is possible that is why the Tibetan budhasit don't talk about their encounter when the leave their body(astral project) almost all Christians have an untrained mind and most of the things they see are just illusions from their subconscious mind Robert Monroe talked deeply about this in his book "journey out of the body" you can go and read it
The subconscious mind can show you things you have been thinking and even forget will come real and fucking vivid but if you don't hang on to it and you begin to meditate more you will pass through it and you will know it is just a ure subconscious mind at work
And if you ask most experienced astral projectors dey will tell you that most of all those religious things people experience during nde are not real
Most astral projectors when begining to test if it is not their mind playing trick on them they will tell their partner to take a piece of paper and write anything on it then place it on a ceiling or high altitude then the other person will lie down leave their physical body and go and check what was written on the paper and then comeback to their physicall body to tell them and guess what they are always right 99999.9 percent

That's the thing bro... They can't ALL be wrong.., You have to understand that belief in the spiritual far precedes belief in anything else.... And these beliefs are not all based on superstition.. The people that propagate these beliefs had real life experiences that made them believe what they believe in...

I myself have experienced the supernatural more than once so you can't blame me for believing what I believe..

Says who? There is no objective god we have encountered so there is no way to say who is wrong or right yet. So far we have not seen any beliefs that are not rooted in superstition. I am yet to see any religion that doesn't claim access to some mystery or the other. That to me is a sure sign that some of that is bullshite.

I don't blame you for believing what you believe after all I was once in your shoes. What I will hold you to though is to display the root of your beliefs if you are attempting to convince me that your beliefs are true.

Simple.

There is a God

He created man for fellowship

Man turned away from God and became evil and therefore became destined for hell

God Loves man and wants to save him

God makes a way for man to be saved from hell by sending His Son Jesus.

Now all men can have fellowship with God through His Son Jesus.
