The rate at which some girls feel bad when a man whose relationship advances they rejected refuses to remain friends with them is suspicious. No man is entitled to any woman, provided they are not dating. Likewise, no woman should be entitled to any man as long as they are not in a serious relationship, or even married.

There have been a lot of debates regarding the above question. Some people have been of the opinion that a man who showed interest in a lady should remain her friend even if she rejected his proposal. They believe that if the man refuses to be her friend after her rejection, then he never loved her in the first place.

Some other people are of the opinion that it is unnecessary for the man to remain her friend since the only thing he wanted from her is just a serious relationship.

Now here is the thing. Relationship and friendship are two different things. They are not in any way related to each other. Although, most relationships started from friendship. Also, some relationships may end in friendship. But that does not mean that they mean the same thing.

Relationship and friendship have one thing in common. The fact that they are both choices to be made makes them seem somehow related.
