Each time I'm in any comment section here on Nairaland, I've noticed how Ibos and Yorubas throw insulting remarks at each other and it's really sad to see. But let me tell y'all the truth Tribalism is mostly for poor people. You need to see the rich people vibe with each other despite whatever tribe they may be from. You see Dangote calling Otedola his best friend, You see Phyno and Olamide, Even Obi Cubana signed a Yoruba artiste as a brand Ambassador for his brand; But here on Nairaland y'all can't get along as if we ain't from the same Country. We need to fix up asap.

Tribalism is ingrained in average Nigerians heart. That's just the truth.

Faceless forum is just an avenue to display it fully

If I see Dangote's daughters married to Gbenga Daniel's sons, then I will know they are both non-tribal.

Take note, Muslim North getting married to Christian South.

Here we go again. Always blaming others for their woes.

So the super mods Lala is also a Yoruba guy right?

Eish
Lalasticlala and Dominique are the best moderators on nairaland by a wide margin. That particular mod I mentioned his name is tribal bigot and he doesn't even hide it

And yet Yoruba's don't blame them when they are banned.

You people should stop coming to the kitchen if you can't stand the heat.

To my best of understanding, no members is immune to the forum banning except mods themselves..

Try and be taking responsibility for your actions, that's the best way to grow in life not by blaming others

What do you say in a situation whereby a Yoruba man will first attack an Igbo man and the Igbo guy will report to that particular mod I mentioned his name but he will turn a blind eye but immediately the Yoruba man reports the Igbo guy when the Igbo guy insults him back the mod will display his gallantry by quickly banning the Igbo guy. He is an APC member and a Tinubu Supporter and anyone that has a different opinion is a marked man on this forum.

Again you are correct. Helinues knows this but just arguing blindly. Helinues that will report a member to only that mod and the site owner, while spelling lala wrongly so that he won't be alerted.
Bros forget yarn abeg. I don't care about ban.

He's not alone. They alert mods but deliberately misspell Lala so that he won't be alerted.

That's mere an allegation with no proof.

The thing is, some of you people don't understand the forum rules. That you reported someone do not mean mods are going to ban the person most especially if the person did not break the forum rules.

Mods don't ban because of what you support or belief, they ban only when you break the forum rules.

There are ways to bend the forum rules, that's a secret without getting banned

Your second false allegations today which you can never provide a single proof to back it up.

Why are you always like this? Why do some of you people always throwing false allegations and when they ask you for proofs, you will keep mute..

Why why why?

You must be right because you started off campaigning for tinubu only to suddenly switch to osunbande in the past few days ahead of his declaration

You tear race when I asked you for proofs. Didn't you?

Stop making false allegations as Peak milk

Well I hope you know Nigeria is worlds poverty capital? The Obi Cubana's, Dangote's and Otedola's are a privileged minority
Re: The Truth About Tribalism by BSdetective: 9:29pm On Apr 11, 2022
Saying tribalism is only for poor people is like saying nationalism is only for poor people...... only someone with the disability to think critically would say what OP said. Rich people are very tribalistic but good at masking their bigotry. Tribalism is part of the reason Dangote has the Monopoly over certain industries and gets certain govt benefits that other southern billionaires wouldn't get. Go to any top social event hosted by an extremely rich ibo person in Ibo land, count the number of Yorubas or fulanis there.... you'd find out that the number is small or even 0, same scenario for intertribal marriages amongst these your "rich people". Obi cubana even signing portable is another form of tribalism because an Igbo musician wouldn't be able to market his garbage bitters like to some Yoruba touts like portable, same with the whole phyno and olamide friendship that you think is going on.... they're just friends for the benefit one may extract from the other. And OP wants to fix nigeria.....armed with his ignorance.
