Then the Nigeria civil war, when the old Eastern Nigeria tried to break away. Again, it failed and millions of our people were killed for nothing. Again, we set ourselves further back economically and socially. With benefits from hind-sight, I'm sure the great Ojukwu would have followed a more conciliatory approach.

The grievances are always genuine and real, but the methodology of addressing those grievances is where the problem is.

Currently, we are faced with the IPOB and ESN struggle in the Southeast. Another attempt at secession has degenerated to arms struggle with daily wanton destruction of lives and properties. Few years from now, the consequences of that will be clear to see, but I doubt seriously if the results will be different.

Recall that before IPOB, there was the MASSOB struggle.

You know, sometimes I wonder if the Igbos on this forum are truly Igbos as they claim.
