MOSCOW, April 13. /TASS/. Russian Defense Ministry published video footage of Mi-24, Mi-28N and Ka-52 strike helicopters destroying Ukrainian air defense systems and armored vehicles.
"A group of Mi-24, Mi-28N, Ka-52 helicopters was performing ground forces support, when the leading helicopter was targeted with a Ukrainian Buk air defense missile. Under the leader’s command, the wingmen fired missiles at the detected launch location, destroying the launcher and the crew," the Ministry said in its commentary.
During their mission, the aviation crews also destroyed Ukrainian armored vehicles, camouflaged and hidden in forested area, with guided missiles.
The Ministry noted that the Army aviation performs missions on escorting convoys, elimination of armored vehicles, delivering airborne troops, military cargo, and air support.

"Over 1,000 Ukrainian marines surrendered today in Mariupol. There are hundreds of injured among them. It is a right choice," he said.
According to Kadyrov, "Ukrainian forces groups are being defeated one after another on a daily basis."
"Ukrainian fighters don’t know what to do with the injured; they don’t know whom to contact and what to do next, because resistance is futile, and there are almost no fighting forces left. Only individual small groups are active," he said.
The head of Chechnya added that "there are about 200 injured deep in the Azovstal plant that cannot receive medical aid."
"It is best for them and everyone else to stop this pointless resistance and return home to their families,"
