Osinbajo: Is It Time For Muslims To Even The Score On Buhari's "Islamization"? by NoSentiment: 5:35am On Apr 13, 2022
Since 1999, fanatical Nigerian Christians (including high ranking pastors of Osinbajo's RCCG) have been using the weapon of religion to demarket Buhari. Though neither a Sheikh, Imam nor Ustaz, Buhari is an ordinary, run of the mill muslim. Yet, fanatical Nigerian Christians alleged that he had an agenda of islamizing Nigeria. They use statements allegedly made by him to support their conspiracy theory. And even though Buhari has been president for almost 8 years, Nigerian still remain a secular country, and not islamized by Buhari whom they said (some still say abd believe) was a muslim fundamentalist.

However, fast forward to 2022, when a high ranking Pastor in RCCG (Osinbajo is actually the second in command at RCCG) by the name of Yemi Osinbajo now wants to contest for the office of Nigeria's president. Osinbajo has according to indisputable evidence appointed only pastors from the RCCG into positions (from his spokesman, Laolu Akande to BOA, FIRS and VCs and Rectors of tertiary institutions) since his becoming VP.

Not only that, similar to Buhari's alleged speeches quoted to buttress the charge for his being on an agenda to islamize Nigeria, Osinbajo has made worse statements, to wit (see: https://www.farooqkperogi.com/ ):

"To give another example hiding in plain sight, during a speech he gave at the Coalition of Nigerian Apostolic Leaders in Lagos, according to a Nov. 4, 2016 Vanguard story titled "Tinubu nominated me for Vice President- Osinbajo," he said his election as Vice President was an opportunity for Christian leaders.
“I was a product of this system [i.e., Christian Apostolic leaders],” he said. “The Church was reluctant, and I understood why the church was reluctant; the church was looking at the head of the ticket [i.e., Muhammadu Buhari who has been portrayed as a Muslim fanatic who’d Islamize Nigeria]. This is our first opportunity. This is our first shot at it. We need to maximize it and do the best we can. I think what my nomination and appointment have done is that it has open [sic] the door for us. We can do it and we can be influential in doing it.”

Also over 90% of Osinbajo's aides are card carrying members/Pastors of the RCCG.

NOW THE QUESTION: SHOULD NIGERIAN MUSLIMS ALSO PAY CHRISTIANS BACK IN THEIR OWN COIN BY REFUSING TO SUPPORT OSINBAJO FOR HIS AGENDA OF CHRITIANIZING NIGERIA?

The same fanatical Christians who haul charges of islamization of Nigeria to Buhari would want Nigerian Muslims to vote Osinbajo (a religious fanatic) now that the shoe is in the other foot. But is this fair? Or are the muslims a bunch of mumus? Isn't it said that you scratch my back and I scratch yours or tit for tat?

What would have been the reactions of Nigerian Christians if Sheikh Isa Ali Pantami contests for President in 2031? What were their reaction recently against statements he made against Amerrican foreign policy and the reaction of violent groups to that?

No point arguing... Osinbajo a Southern Christian can't win core North dominated by Muslims...

To a Muslim fanatic and extremist a woman has a better chance of leading him in prayers or for him to bow and worship an idol than for an "Infidel" to be their ruler

Goodluck Jonathan was rejected with every blood in their veins even when he concentrated all his projects up North neglecting his own home state

Even the cozy Islamic schools built with modern facilities got rejected because to them an "infidel" built it

Osibanjo ain't there yet but you've started having headaches. The head slammers buhari appointed to key positions doesn't give you any concern but the few "pastors" osinbanjo appointed has become your worries.

Don't just fuss yet bro, a southerner would also give the almajiris the same treatment buhari gave the souths. Who first do no dey pain, nah second to do dey pain pass.

Any Muslim that calls a Christian an infidel is the real infidel.
It's like some Islamic fanatics are suffering from genetic trauma which makes them to be at war all the time. An example is Akintola of MURIC. You guys are cursed & ll be in hopelessness & destruction if you don't practice the religion of live & let live.
The world isn't for Muslims alone & you all aren't the most populous or in charge to dictate how others should live.
If you all think Osinbajo is a Christian & based on that you won't vote for him, do that with your PVC. Stop creating hate speeches & inciting posts like this thread.
You all can rot in your illusions!
Osinbajo has the right to choose his cabinets & that's his choice. You all should go & profile Pantami's cabinet & do the census of Muslims employed to Christians employed. If God says Osinbajo's the next president, he'll be the next president. You all can slam your heads to rocks instead of the floor.
Bunch of cry babies always causing problems for the world.
To hell with you all!

There is no plan like Christianization for us Christians.

Most Christians don't see things from the religious prism that a whole bunch of people do.

When Osinbajo was charging the people like you claimed, it was not a call to Christianize the nation but rather for more Christians to participate in politics.

You can check the annals of this country's political history, there have been more Muslims in politics and government than the Christians and the reason is Christians have been doctrinated to believe politicians are corrupt but now there is a shift in the mindset that you can be a politician and yet be a Christian.

So the clarion call is not for Christianization like you claimed but for openness in participation in politics by his Christian folks.

But sincerely, the whole talk of appointments under Osinbajo, Pastor this or that is actually a personal thing.

Namadi Sambo was VP under Jonathan, how many Christians were under his direct payroll? Zilch...

Osinbajo is the incoming president of Nigeria. Deal with it.

But on a serious note, this saying of Osinbajo wouldn't be tolerated by Christians if a Moslem said it.

"The Church was reluctant, and I understood why the church was reluctant; the church was looking at the head of the ticket . This is our first opportunity. This is our first shot at it. We need to maximize it and do the best we can. I think what my nomination and appointment have done is that it has open [sic] the door for us. We can do it and we can be influential in doing it.”

Stick to the context. Islamization and Christianisation of Nigeria is what I read not war or crime.

You be olodo ni?

Besides, I don't have problem with anyone practicing both religion. The most important thing is can your religion set you free from sin? Gaskiya ni!

How can a religion that tells me that my God became a man just to die for my sins set me free from sins. I do whatever I like since God has already died and risen for my sins.

You statements are devoid of facts. Goodluck was rejected yet he got millions of votes in the north despite all the propaganda and character assassination? What about his previous victory that got him elected at first, was it a different northern that voted him then? Be specific dawg, he lost for a combination of some factors both immediate and remote reasons.

Even the Bible states you should not let a stranger rule over you, so I don’t blame core North. The solution is dissolution of this country.

Deuteronomy 17:15
King James Version
15 Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the Lord thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.
